Viktor, 62 ans, Krymskiy most street, Moscow

It’s been almost 14 years since I retired. I served as a major in Air Defence forces at Far East. Retirement is time when I can finally have time for myself.

I am going to pick up my granddaughter from school now, she is seven years old, by the way. So I decided why not taking a walk on the Krymskiy bridge.

Chilly, isn’t it? If the weather is nice I guess we will be skiing in Kolomenskoye park on the weekend. Also, me and my granddaughter like spending time in Gorky Park. I can’t think of any specific place as my favourite, I just love the city, I like wandering quite aimlessly with no particular route in mind.

Walking along the Krymskaya embankment is quite nice - my granddaughter loves Muzeon park, so you can often find us there. I often let her choose a place for walking. We’ve been to VDNKh lately (Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy, permanent general purpose trade show and amusement park in Moscow). Also we sometimes go to the shopping mall that has huge aquarium in it, to watch the colourful fishes.
