Mikhail, 75 ans, Krymskaya embankment, Moscow

I used to work as a design engineer in one of the Electrical Machinery Research Institutes. Now I have time to rest, I walk often. I visit exhibitions, just now I bought tickets to an Italian painting exhibition.

I am a native Moscow resident, I know the city very well and my number one city destinations are Pokrovskiye Vorota square area and Maroseyka street. It have its old Moscow feeling.

My grandchildren are far too grown up, so I can’t say we spend much time together.

As for sports, I’m really into nordic walking (walking with specially designed poles). It has a huge health-improving impact on your whole body. If technique and pace are right, your spine is having a rest while muscles work.
